Dr. Marilyn Black, the pioneer of environmental chamber technology, founded Air Quality Sciences (AQS) in 1989. AQS is the only testing facility outside of the European Union that has been approved for the coveted German Blue Angel Program. It is also an approved and accredited laboratory for The Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS), the GREENGUARD Certification programs, the Carpet and Rug Institute’s Green Label Plus Program and California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) Air Cleaner Certification Program (in partnership with Underwriters Laboratory).
In addition, the AQS ISO 9001 registered building consulting group is world-renowned for its expertise in identifying and solving chemical and environmental mold problems in buildings of all types.
